Having read all the reports now, it would appear that this is a relatively simple case of fragile confidence in the young. There was no experience there to know how to lift themselves having gone in a goal down.
Had Richard Lee not saved the penalty at Gillingham I'd imagine that might have gone the same way. That team is mostly young and inexperienced. As Aidy said some will learn from this and become better players. Others will not.
All is not lost. No need to panic.
